Summer update

Hey everyone, figured it was time for an update. Still dealing with the annoying and horrible pain in my legs. This is starting to really get on my nerves and affect my daily life. Since seeing the pain management doctor, I'm on a second type of medication now to try and calm the pain down. Actually have to up the dose today to see if it can make a difference. So far, none of the meds have made any dent in the leg pain, and I've seen only negatives: lots of fatigue, lots of brain fog, and other kind of annoying side effects. Going to try this next increased dose as a last resort, and then I'm giving up on trying meds for this. Definitely not seeing enough positives to continue trying.

In other news, the liver embolization situation stays the same. Saw positive results, but now know that it did not help the serotonin production, as my last test showed that it was still pretty high. Definitely going to need to address this in the near future. Very likely will be back on the lanreotide injections starting in August. Those shots seem to have helped control the serotonin better, and we now know that the injections were not what were causing my leg pain, since I've been off it for almost a year. Have all my new scans coming in August, and we'll definitely keep you all posted. As always, trying to stay positive and keep rolling.

Oh, and another fun news my insurance company decided to drop my policy. it’s all sorted now, but I think Dayna had a couple of heart attacks.

As always, thank you all for the love and support.
