"What if the robot gets taken over by skynet?"

Paulie Positivity joking his way into surgery…

He’s a freaking trooper. Definitely anxious and stressed as to be expected, but also being his usual endearing self and being super positive and optimistic. As he’s getting rolled into his robotic surgery… with a smile on his face… “Babe, what if the robot gets taken over by skynet?” I love this dufus. ❤️

Surgery started around 8:20am. They said it should take about 4-5 hours. I’ll post a quick update as soon as I have any news.

As for me…those of you who know me know what kind of state I’m in. Waiting very anxiously and trying to keep distracted and calm. I’m a hugger. And by hugger I mean I NEED hugs and physical contact to survive. And I just realized I’m in the waiting room with the least huggable person on the planet —AKA — Michelle Bochner (Paul’s sister). Anyone ever see that scene from stepbrothers where Brennan and Dale try to hug at the Catalina wine mixer? That’s like trying to hug missy. Only she also sends laser beams from her eyes into your soul.

All jokes aside… I love this chick to death, even if she won’t hug me. AND.… She sneaked in the best bag of goodies for me. High noons, snacks and Xanax (not shown). Best sis-in-law ever.

Also, thankfully, Ellen (Paul’s mom) is here, and she DOES give great hugs if I need one (or 50)! 🤗

Thank you to everyone who reached out and who are keeping Paul (and myself) in your thoughts. We really appreciate you. I think the outpouring of support really put him in a good place before going into surgery today.
